The helmet and its design are great, with the exceptions being the 'docking' ports when charging both the device and the Remote. Very poor design there, as well as the inability to turn OFF the beeping when turning the helmet on/off. Again, missed opportunity to make the helmet great. The app needs MAJOR work and doesn't update the firmware. You would think with the high cost of the helmet, they could invest in getting something so basic like an app to work correctly. It's 2019 after all!

Useless app! It once was able to connect and upload the firmware. But now after many, many tries and several app versions, it still will not connect and upload the latest firmware. Each time I have tried it turns off the helmet and then promptly fails the upload due to device disconnected. After several attempts to contact support, they have been overwhelming unhelpful in resolving this problem. Thankfully the helmet still has my prior settings and I will not use the app any further.

Hey Carl, I am really sorry about the inconvenience. We have a known issue with firmware update for Samsung + Android 10. Our software engineers are looking into this. The app works, but connection to the helmet is not always achieved without restarting the app. When connected the app itself is very laggy and sluggish on my Samsung S22. Configuring the helmet to my liking is possible, but at the moment a painfully slow experience.
