The Truth is Hidden in Plain Sight
In the city of New Midland, cases aren't solved just by looking at the evidence—they are solved by looking through it. In Between The Lines, you take on the role of a seasoned investigator where the most critical clues are often buried within the stories people tell. As you navigate a city filled with secrets, you must determine who is telling the truth and who is hiding behind a carefully crafted narrative.
Investigate, Interact, and Deduce
This isn't just a point-and-click adventure; it is a logic-driven simulation of detective work.
Explore New Midland: Use the interactive city map to visit various buildings, from dark alleys to high-rise offices, each containing unique environmental clues.
Dynamic Interrogations: Talk to suspects and witnesses. Ask about specific people, buildings, or items you’ve discovered to catch them in a lie.
Master Your Inventory: Collect physical evidence and use your backpack to store items that might unlock new leads when presented to the right person.
The Case Board: Organize your findings on a classic detective corkboard. Connect the dots, identify the motive, and find the culprit.
