Lunea supports girls and teenagers through their first periods, and their mothers, fathers, or guardians in that support, without invading their privacy.
The first cycles come with many questions and little desire to ask them out loud. Lunea gives her a space of her own to understand what she's experiencing, and the adult just what she needs to support her.
FOR HER
• Menstrual Calendar. Track her periods and see the prediction for the next one, with clear explanations of each phase.
• Mood Tracker. A daily check-in to name how she feels and see how it changes throughout the cycle.
• Luna. An assistant she can talk to via text or voice, whenever she wants and without feeling judged.
• Anonymous Community. A space to read and share with other girls going through the same thing, without names or photos.
• SOS Mode. Concrete steps for difficult moments, available even without internet access.
FOR THE RESPONSIBLE ADULT
• Consensual Connection. The connection is created with a code and is recorded. It is not activated without her knowledge.
• Only the calendar. The adult sees the menstrual calendar she shares, to know when to accompany her or schedule a medical appointment.
• Nothing else. They never access her conversations with Luna, her mood log, or the community. This is not a configuration setting: the app does not allow it.
WHY WE DO IT THIS WAY
An app that promises privacy to a girl and then hands it over to someone else is not protecting her: it is monitoring her. That is why the separation between the two profiles is not an option that can be disabled, but rather the way Lunea is designed.
We also protect the data: the health and mood information belongs to her and is not used for advertising or sold to anyone.
IMPORTANT
Lunea is a support and educational tool. It does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have any questions about your daughter's health, consult her doctor.
