As an electrician, I've installed some lutron caseta products in clients houses. Thought I'd give it a shot in my own home. Got everything installed, set up the app and doesn't work very well. I have a Samsung galaxy s7 and in the app store it says, "your device isn't compatible with this version." Every time I leave and come home an annoying notification pops up saying the it failed to connect to the smart bridge and my lights don't turn on/off. Also when I go to put the widget on my home screen the widgets don't appear. At this point, the caseta smart bridge package isn't something id want to recommend to clients and put my name behind.
The bridge is a bit slow to connect, even though it's connected directly to Ethernet. But it's a decent app. I have to beg you: Lutron, please release a Caséta version of your MA-LFQHW-WH Maestro Fan Control and Dimmer Kit. This would complete my smart home. Thanks.
Disappointing Support Broken Google Now commands and no Google Home compatibility? This is not what I expected from a company trying to position itself as a high end automation solution. I've been patiently waiting for an update, but this is getting ridiculous. I have every switch in the house replaced with Lutron and was considering the automated shades as well, and now I'm on the verge of going back to normal switches and investing in Belkin WeMo or Philips Hue. Step it up, Lutron!!!
Update 4/2/17 - working well again. Great job lutron. I use this app every day.
only one account can linked to a hub!? lame
Google assistant integration works perfectly. Amazing app!!
The Lutron app will now show you when your Nest Thermostat is saving energy with Eco mode.
Fixed issues causing Arriving/Leaving Scenes to not work well on devices with Android 7.
Additional bug fixes and improvements.
