Really a flawed device. Can't tell you the number of times I'm being asked by family on this, Christmas Day, "did you get it". From unable to connect to we've found 0 devices, etc, etc. This was a great idea that has unfortunately in practice, been a failure. No need for anyone to have so much frustration connecting this thing, especially today. White flag waved, I give!

My long distance partner and I love this thing. it's so cute. it's a little bit of a learning curve and isn't as customizable as it could be though. for example, if you want to set the color of your lamp you get a color wheel, but if you are seeing up color codes you have to choose from a list. it also is very difficult to set up, but the staff is helpful when I had a problem. make sure to turn off your VPN (including adblock DNS) when setting it up since that was my issue

Colors for the codes are to close that it's hard to tell. And can't tell if one is already in use. More colors would be nice. Also to be able to do a pattern would be nice. The small how to guide in the box says I can do patterns but when I go to settings I do not have the option. App freezes after I use it once, close the app, and try to open the app later. It won't open. Have to force stop in settings. Overall though it's fun to send light communication to friends and family.
