New update forced the new UI on us. Half of the UI remains non-functional and has dashes instead of any data. You've forgotten that solar production per day/month/year is measured in kWh, and instead label it watts. I can no longer see the grid voltage, which was very useful in brownouts. I have to go to the hidden option to get to the old UI to control octopus charge, which even though broken is more hidden than ever. New UI has slicker visuals but is much, much less functional and broken.

The new version of the app appears to have a few bugs, for example when the battery is discharging to power the load of the house, it still says "charging" instead of discharging. the animations could be better, as it is difficult to see what is happening (the animations in the old version of the app were easier to see). Plus it took a little while to learn where the AC charge settings are, and learn the new terminology such as " Working mode setting" etc.

I have used the app with my batteries for several years. Initially, I was able to adjust charging levels so that I filled the batteries completely in January, but charged batteries for free in summer. Today, when I make changes to the charge levels the app ignores my settings. Yesterday I reduced the charge level to 60% but the app charged my batteries, which were already at more than 75%. This is expensive and effectively means I am wasting money even having batteries.
