About this app

LuxCab is the mobile app for taxi rides – for private customers who want to book a ride, as well as for registered taxi companies, drivers, and company employees.

Private customers can book a ride directly in the app: enter the pickup location and destination, view the fare, and confirm the booking with a phone number and SMS code – no separate account is required. After booking, the app automatically searches for an available driver nearby, displays them live on the map including their arrival time, and allows the customer to call the driver directly. Recently completed trips can be booked again with a single tap.

Drivers can log in to the app to receive and accept ride requests from private customers in real time. Drivers also receive a clear overview of their current, daily, and past trips. New bookings assigned by the taxi company appear automatically in real time. Drivers have access to their company's complete list of trips at any time.

Taxi companies can easily manage incoming and ongoing bookings. New trips can be created and saved directly in the app. Bookings can be filtered, forwarded, and shared with other taxi companies.

When orders come in from partner companies, they appear in the "Available Orders" section. Taxi companies can see which orders have been accepted by other drivers and keep track of forwarded rides. Additionally, taxi companies can send notifications to their drivers.

Company employees registered with their company can order or cancel rides directly in the app. All ordered rides remain clearly visible at all times.

Note: Private customers can register directly in the app with their phone number. Accounts for taxi companies, drivers, and company employees can still only be created via the LuxCab platform.
