About this app

To read Korean, you don’t need to memorize thousands of symbols. Korean uses a single, logical writing system called Hangul, made up of a small set of letters. Hangul was specifically designed to be easy to learn and is written the way Korean sounds. These letters are grouped into square blocks, and each block represents one spoken syllable. This system allows you to learn how to read and pronounce Korean words very quickly.

For example, the letters 慁 (m) and 慗 (o) combine to form ėŖØ (mo).

Reading Korean helps you understand written Korean by showing how characters look and sound. The app focuses entirely on reading and recognition. It does not teach speaking, vocabulary, or grammar. It is designed for beginners, travelers, K-drama or K-pop fans, or anyone who wants to learn Korean writing in a simple, structured way.

Hangul letters are based on the shape of the mouth when speaking or simple line patterns. This makes Hangul one of the most logical and learnable writing systems in the world.
