About this app

Dogear turns your homework into a satisfying stack of color-coded index cards right on your screen. The entire app lives on a warm wooden desk surface, with scattered paperclips, sticky notes, and a sharpened pencil that makes managing assignments feel delightfully tactile. Add a new assignment from the Add tab by filling out a fresh card with a title, subject, due date, and a priority level shown as tiny paperclip marks along the edge. Your pending work appears in the Stack tab as a neat pile sorted by urgency, so the most important card always rises to the top. Swipe any card sideways to stamp it with a tilted red “DONE” mark, and watch it move automatically into the Done collection with a folded dog-ear corner and a completion date. The Due tab lays out every upcoming deadline for today and the rest of the week on separate cards, with a soft highlighter stripe that draws your eye to what needs immediate attention. Need to change a detail? Tapping any card opens it for quick edits, so you can update a title, shift a deadline, or adjust the priority without starting over. If you accidentally finish a card too soon, just remove its red stamp from the Done tab and the assignment returns to your active stack. At the heart of the app, a dashboard fans out your next three deadlines and pins two sticky notes that show your total pending tasks and the number due today in handwritten numerals. A small kraft paper tag clipped to the side proudly tallies how many you have completed this week. All your assignment cards stay safely on your device with local storage, so the app works completely offline and respects your privacy without any account setup. Thoughtful little details, like the slightly raised metal binder clip on the active tab and the faint graphite prompt on an empty card, make organizing your study load feel more like arranging a real desktop than using a digital tool. Dogear helps you stop worrying about forgetting a deadline and start turning each assignment into a small, satisfying win.
