QuickGeo is a geography quiz for learning the world's flags and capital cities in rounds short enough to finish while the kettle boils.
It covers all 196 countries and all 50 US states, and gives you eight different ways to drill them. Pick a mode from the grid, choose your regions, and go. No menus to dig through, no round longer than a couple of minutes.
EIGHT WAYS TO PLAY
Flags — a flag and a country name. True or false? Answer with the buttons or by swiping.
Capitals — the same, for capital cities.
Flag Quiz — a flag and four countries. Pick the right one.
Capital Quiz — a country and four cities. Pick the right one.
Flashcards — a country on the front, its capital on the back. Flip it, then mark whether you knew it. Nothing is timed, so it's the calm way to learn a new region.
Daily — one geography question a day, plus a calendar of the month. Green tick for a day you got right, amber cross for one you missed. Miss a day and you can still go back and answer it.
Weak spots — a round built entirely from the countries you get wrong most often, worked out from your own answer history. The fastest way to stop losing the same flags over and over.
USA — a track of its own for state capitals, true/false or as flashcards. State flags are in there too: switch on the US States region and they turn up in the flag modes alongside the countries.
Stats — your accuracy per country, so you can see what is actually sticking.
BUILT FOR SHORT SESSIONS
A Quick round is ten questions and takes a couple of minutes. Full runs the whole pool you picked, for when you want to sit down with it properly. Set yourself 5, 10 or 15 seconds per question, or type in your own number if you would rather take your time. Pause a true/false round and it waits for you — come back tomorrow and pick up where you left off.
PICK YOUR PART OF THE WORLD
Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the US States switch on and off independently. Learning African flags this week? Turn the rest off and every mode narrows to them.
TAP OR SWIPE
Answer with buttons, or swipe the card right for yes and left for no. Your choice applies across the true/false modes, the flashcards and the daily question.
WORKS ON A PLANE
Every flag and every question is built into the app. No connection needed to play a round.
PAID ONCE, THAT IS IT
No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases, no locked modes, no "pro" version dangled at you mid-round. You buy it once and everything in it is yours from the first launch.
Good for a geography lesson, a pub quiz you refuse to lose, or the small satisfaction of finally telling Chad from Romania.
