Translate text, voice and camera in 59 languages — right on your device, with or without an internet connection.

AI Translator handles the three ways you actually need to translate: typing something out, holding a conversation, and pointing your camera at text you can't read. Everything runs on-device, so once your language packs are downloaded it keeps working on a plane, in a basement, or anywhere the signal drops.


TEXT TRANSLATOR
Type or paste text and see the translation appear as you go. Copy the result with one tap, or have it read aloud. Every translation is saved to your history automatically, so you can find it again later.


VOICE CONVERSATION
Tap the mic and speak naturally. Your words are transcribed, translated, and read out loud in the other language, then you hand the phone over and the other person replies the same way. Useful for asking directions, ordering food, or any back-and-forth where typing is too slow.


CAMERA TRANSLATOR
Point your camera at a menu, a street sign, a label or a form. Text is recognised in the viewfinder and translated on screen. Tap to freeze the result so you can read it properly, then resume scanning.


WORKS OFFLINE
Download a language pack once over Wi-Fi and that language works with no connection at all. Manage your downloaded packs from the Offline screen and remove any you no longer need to free up space.


PHRASEBOOK
Ready-made phrases for the situations you'll actually hit while travelling — basics, getting around, eating out, hotels and emergencies. Every phrase is translated into your chosen language and can be spoken aloud, so you can hold up your phone and let it talk.


HISTORY AND FAVOURITES
Everything you translate is kept. Star the phrases you use often, replay any of them out loud, and clear the rest whenever you like.

The app is free to use. Premium unlocks unlimited offline language packs, available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a single one-time purchase if you'd rather not subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel any time in Google Play.
