V Remote turns your phone into a simple, reliable remote control for your television. Control supported smart TVs over your home Wi-Fi network, or use your phone's built-in IR blaster (if it has one) for older televisions.

No clutter. No confusing setup. Just a clean remote that works.


● WI-FI REMOTE FOR SMART TVs

Connect over your home network — no infrared hardware needed. TV Remote supports popular smart TV platforms:

• Roku and Roku TV
• LG smart TVs (webOS)
• Samsung smart TVs (Tizen)
• Vizio SmartCast
• Android TV and Google TV devices

Your phone and TV simply need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The app scans your network, finds compatible devices, and guides you through a quick, secure pairing step (your TV may display an approval prompt or a pairing code).


● IR REMOTE FOR OLDER TVs

If your phone includes an infrared (IR) blaster, TV Remote can control many older, non-smart televisions. IR support currently includes code sets for LG, Samsung, Sony, and Vizio.

Please note: most modern phones do NOT include an IR blaster. This feature only works on devices with infrared hardware — commonly found on some Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, and older Samsung models. You can check availability inside the app.


● IPTV PLAYER

Add your own M3U playlist by URL or file, or browse channels by country. Play live streams directly in the app.

TV Remote does not provide, host, or supply any channels or media content. You must supply your own legally obtained playlist.


● SCREEN MIRRORING & CAST

Share your phone's screen on a compatible TV using your device's built-in cast picker.

● REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE READ

• Wi-Fi control requires a supported smart TV connected to the SAME Wi-Fi network as your phone.
• IR control requires a phone with a built-in infrared (IR) blaster. Most phones do not have one.
• Not every television model is supported. Manufacturers use different, often proprietary control protocols, and support varies by model, region, and firmware version.
• Some TVs require you to enable network or remote control access in the TV's own settings menu.

If your TV is not supported yet, we would rather tell you honestly than waste your time. We are continually working to add more devices.
