Works as described, and for the price point of the drone, that's not bad. Would give it 5 stars however I see no way to enter waypoints on map, the button to add waypoints is missing. All other functions work great. Even Follow me mode, for a 100 dollar drone works well. Please tell me how to get waypoint button to show and I can easily change to 5 star review.

App is great when it works. I use it on both a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a Samsung Galaxy S7 and on both phones the app constantly crashes. Sometimes even before I get the drone up. Wifi range on my D58 is really poor. I lose signal at about 50 feet away even on both of my phones. Plan to buy a wifi range extender to see if that will help. But the app crashes so much I don't know if it's even worth messing with.

I was having the same problem with maps not loading in the app, but I figured out what the problem was. The app seems to use the download offline maps function in Google maps to retrieve map data, and this function in Google maps is set to work on wifi only by default, so the app is unable to download maps over your mobile connection. To fix this you need to go into the settings in google maps and allow offline maps to be downloaded over mobile as well. 1. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of google maps next to the search field. 2. Scroll all the way down and tap settings. 3. Scroll down and tap offline maps settings 4. Tap download preferences 5. Choose Over Wi-Fi or mobile network 6. Open Potensic-GPS and it should now be able to download maps while connected to the drone. I hope this works for all of you having problems as well. This really should have been mentioned in the manual, but at least it works now. Good luck!
