When I press an igc file from the logbook a short downloading popup appears then nothing. I can't find it on my storage
I'm attempting to use the NanoConfig app ver 2.1.1 on a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with my Nano 3. I'm unable to edit or create a task. If I select the "Add Waypoint" + button I get an error message "You have no .cup file selected! Please go under Task tab > menu buttons > locations and select your .cup file." THERE IS NO MENU BUTTON! Not in the lower right corner as noted in a previous reply, not in the lower left, upper right, upper left, bottom middle...... There is no visible "hamburger" to select anywhere. Nothing.... All of the waypoints are visible in the Files tab but there is no way to load them to edit or create a task. My club has recently purchased a Nano for use in club ships. The app would (and should) enable pilots to create and edit tasks easily when switching between pilots and gliders. The lack of this functionality on the app will force the use of a computer to change the task since most do not have another way to interface with the Nano. EDIT 1: I received the reply below from LX Nav, but there seems to be a communication barrier. There are no three buttons, visible or otherwise, anywhere on the task screen or any other screen. EDIT 2: I updated from 2 to 4 stars after emailing LX Nav support. You need to long press the "back" button in order to access the menu to allow selection of your waypoint file on phones without a menu button.
Won't work with Nexus 7 Works well with my experia phone running Android 4.4, but since the last update will not run on a Nexus 7 running Android 4.4 or a Nexus 7 2013 running Android 6.01 Please fix
Access waypoint file? Also as per other user, can't access waypoint file on phone without menu button, no other menu button on screen
Can't choose waypointfile If your android device does not have a menu button can't you choose waypointfile and therefor not declare your Nano3.
Good app. Needs a little work though. I am generally happy with this app but it could be even better, in my opinion. Likes: - It connects seamlessly to my Nano. (Love the Nano) - It is easy to adjust settings, mostly. Here is where I think it needs some work. Improvements needed: - The gliders available in this app varies considerably from the PC based Nano Config. For me this greatly reduces the obvious ease of use. (They should be the same) For example: If I fly an SGS 1-26 first, and then switch to an SGS 2-33 to take up a passenger, I have to go to the PC version to choose the 2-33 rather than a quick change from my Samsung Galaxy S3. That really is a pain. I then end up with a flight recorded as a 1-26 that should have been a 2-33. - The pilot log is good for giving me a quick review of my flight time. It would be great if it added just a little more information like release height, and max altitude reached. Filling out my logbook would then be accurate and quick. Now if you could export to Zululog, wow! :-) Just a little polishing and this app will be great! Easy 5 stars with a few fixes.
