Choose Wei, Shu, or Wu, starting with your own cities and generals, and gradually expand your power on the world map until you unify all cities. Pixel Heroes combines city management, general development, and real-time combat in a single Three Kingdoms campaign.
【Managing Cities and Building Up Your Army】
・Select your own city to develop, recruit, search, and manage your internal affairs.
・Appoint governors to utilize generals' intelligence to accelerate city recovery; reward generals to increase their loyalty.
・Search cities for opportunities to recruit unaffiliated generals or obtain treasures, then equip suitable generals with these items.
・Assign troops to your generals, switching between infantry, spearmen, cavalry, or archers to prepare for the next campaign.
【Large-Scale Map Marching and Offense/Defense】
・Arrange your troops to march between connected cities, observing the daily changes in enemy and friendly forces.
・Each unit can contain a maximum of five generals; sufficient troops and stamina are required before embarking on your campaign.
• Engage in open field battles when encountering enemy forces, and launch siege warfare when attacking defending troops.
• Utilize troop type advantages, terrain, and general abilities to advance from one city to the next.
【Real-time Battlefield, Personally Unleash Skills】
• Select your general during battle to unleash their unique skill once skill energy is full.
• Area attacks, single-target heavy attacks, linear sweeps, chain attacks, healing, attack buffs, stuns, and life steal—each has its suitable battle situation.
• Manual command is available at crucial moments, or you can activate automatic command to allow your generals to unleash skills automatically.
• Melee engagements may trigger duels, allowing renowned generals' abilities to directly determine the outcome of the battle.
【Post-Battle Disposition, Change the World Map】
• After conquering an enemy city, captured generals await your decision.
• Captured generals who meet certain conditions can be recruited or released; execution will remove the general from the battle.
• If your troops are defeated, you can choose to surrender or watch the full incentive ad to allow your troops to recover and continue fighting.
【Traditional Chinese Preferred】
• Traditional Chinese is the default game language. Information on cities, factions, generals, skills, gameplay instructions, and battle reports is all available in Traditional Chinese.
• Japanese and Korean options are also available; you can switch languages at the title screen.
• Game progress can be saved to your device and resumed from the title screen.
