Vaelthyr is a vertical exploration collection mobile game that combines forest pathfinding with dream shard gathering. Players move through the ever-expanding Dreamweave Forest, avoiding dangers such as mist and blue streams. Collecting the required types of dream shards scores points and unlocks the next, larger forest area. Along the way, they can pick up lanterns to dispel nearby mist, use a compass to reveal shard locations, and utilize portals or willow clearings to resolve crises. Filling the lost meter or stepping into a stream ends the round. The pace is relaxed yet tests route planning and item timing.
