Spindlog turns your vehicle service history into a simple, tactile garage record that feels as real as the workbench itself. The Slate tab gives you an at-a-glance dashboard where total services and mileage since your last oil change appear in white chalk on a hanging board, while the three most recent stamped metal tags dangle from a magnetic rail right below it. Every entry you create lives as a rectangular identification tag with embossed lettering, stamped borders, and engraved mileage, with the metal finish changing by service type: brass for oil changes, nickel for tire rotations, copper for brake pads, steel for filters, and zinc for battery jobs. Adding a new record opens a carbon-copy ticket pad where you dial in the service type, spin the date wheel, set the odometer reading, and stamp the mechanic name before imprinting it with a single tap. The Services tab lists your full chronological log, letting you swipe left on any tag to tear off a ticket-stub confirmation and remove it, or tap to open the ticket pad again and update the stamped details. All of your data stays strictly on your device with local storage, so there is no account to create and no sync to configure. In the Garage tab, a grease-pencil scribble strip lets you search by service type or mechanic name, and a magnetic parts tray with metal dividers filters results by oil can, tire, brake, battery, filter, or pulls up everything at once. The four bottom tabs rest as flat wrench heads in a red metal tool tray, with the active one lifting with an oily sheen and a crisp shadow to show exactly where you are. This keeps the whole experience rooted in a familiar workshop atmosphere, without badges, checkmarks, or complex menus competing for your attention. Anyone who does their own basic upkeep, commutes daily and wants a no-fuss history, or is building a clean maintenance record for resale benefits from records that are quick to stamp, easy to read, and impossible to lose in a pile of paperwork.
