Make room for your apps, files and media with Orbit.

Organize your Home with app shortcuts, folders, a dock and widgets. Add, move or remove Home pages and choose your default page. Use built-in digital or analog clocks, device information and optional weather, or add compatible Android widgets. Search the widget picker, review the size and place each widget where you want it. Widget availability and configuration depend on their provider and device support.

Use Orbit Dashboard or Home pages, organize apps into categories, keep favorites close and choose compatible icon packs. Adjust colors, spacing, motion and controls for your screen. Orbit supports touch, keyboards and game controllers, with layouts for portrait and landscape use. Remote navigation provides a direct way into the app drawer.

Back up and restore your Orbit setup. Compatible Nova Launcher backup layouts can also be imported with a preview. Review the result before applying it; unsupported items and older backup versions may need adjustment, and Android widgets need reconnecting. Orbit is independently developed and is not affiliated with Nova Launcher.

Orbit Files manages files and folders you select through Android's system document picker, including supported removable drives. Browse, search, create, rename, copy, move, share, archive and delete accessible files and folders. Edit supported UTF-8 text with find, undo and local recovery backups, and restore items from Trash. Access depends on the folder or document provider you choose. Android's protected-folder rules still apply; drive and document-picker availability vary by device.

Open local audio, video and images in Orbit Media Player, including documents sent from other apps. Use fullscreen playback, available album artwork, playback speed and background audio with Android media controls. Supported formats and codecs depend on your device.

Optional weather shows current conditions and a seven-day forecast when the widget has enough room, with colorful weather icons and daily highs and lows. Choose a ZIP code or city and Fahrenheit or Celsius. Lookup sends your entered place to Photon; forecasts send selected place coordinates to MET Norway. Both receive your connection IP address. Provider logs are not removed by clearing Orbit's local weather data. Orbit does not request GPS location access. Internet is needed to refresh; saved forecasts can appear offline.

Optional notification gestures use Android's AccessibilityService API only to open Notifications or Quick Settings when you request them. A separate in-app disclosure asks for your agreement before enabling the helper in Android settings. Orbit does not read screen or notification contents, monitor other apps, inject gestures, or collect or share accessibility data. You can refuse or withdraw consent and keep using Orbit without the helper.

Orbit has no ads, analytics, developer accounts or developer-operated cloud storage. Files and Media work without making Orbit the default Home app. Default Home selection depends on Android and the manufacturer; advanced setup is optional and is not universally supported. Android 10 or later is required.

What’s new
