Drones come in swarms. They flank your guns, split under fire, circle out of range and strike together. Tanks grind up the roads. Missiles arrive with seconds of warning. You have a budget, and every shot you fire comes out of it.
Counterswarm is a modern tower defence game about answering each threat with the right counter, at the right price.
THE COUNTER WEB
No single defence stops everything. Jammers bring down radio-controlled drones for nothing, but fibre-optic drones ignore them and slip past radar. Machine guns shred infantry and bounce off tanks. Lasers cost almost nothing to fire, until rain and fog blunt them. Only long-range interceptors can stop a ballistic missile. Learn what beats what, and build for the wave that is coming.
COUNT EVERY SHOT
Every shot costs funds. A cheap swarm can drain a battery of expensive missiles, leaving nothing for the armour behind it. Your exchange ratio, what you destroy against what you spend and lose, earns stars and shows how well you fought.
SWARMS THAT THINK
Enemy drones fly as swarms, not in a queue. They plan routes around your air defences, split into flanking groups when they take losses, and hold out of range until every swarm is in place before attacking together. Between waves, the enemy adapts to the defences that are hurting it most.
THE CAMPAIGN
30 levels in six chapters, each bringing new threats and the defences that answer them:
- Ground War: infantry, armoured cars, IFVs and tanks
- The Drones Arrive: FPV swarms, drone teams and bombers
- Jam-Proof: fibre-optic drones,
Tower defence against drone swarms, missiles and armour. Every shot costs.
