Maderas Barber - Lutería

Maderas Barber

About this app

Barber Woods has been supplying wood to instrument makers since 1969. This is their official store.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND

• Instrument woods: tops, backs, sides, necks, and fingerboards, in the usual species and qualities.

• Luthier tools: gouges, chisels, planes, jointers, clamps, and everything used at the workbench.

• Finishes: varnishes, shellac, oils, stains, and abrasives.

• Accessories and components: tuning pegs, frets, strings, bridges, and hardware.

• Unique pieces: one-of-a-kind cuts.

YOUR PRICE, NOT JUST ANY PRICE

If you have a professional or distributor account, the app shows you your prices and terms, the same as on the website. You can browse the entire catalog without registering; an account is only required when making a purchase.

PREPARATION SERVICES

Many woods can be dried, calibrated, or purchased by photo. These services can be arranged through the product page, next to the piece, and the wood arrives prepared at the workshop.

WOOD WITH DOCUMENTATION

We work with species protected under the CITES convention and with FSC certification. Each product page indicates the relevant information, so you know what you are buying and what documentation accompanies it.

HOW IT WORKS

• Search by name, species, or reference number.

• Check measurements, availability, and actual photos.

• Add items to your cart from the listing or the product page.
