About this app

The Thinking with Bread app accompanies the discovery of Milan's Wheat Library through two main functions:
- providing specific information on wheat species and varieties and their life cycles,
- integrating knowledge of the entire project and the experience of visiting the Library.

Milan's Wheat Library is an experimental agricultural field for growing cereals using regenerative agroforestry techniques, a laboratory of deep ecology, and also a venue for cultural, social, and artistic initiatives.

The app allows you to explore the cycle of the seasons, the time of ecological succession, and encounter fragments of performances specifically designed for the site.

Through augmented reality, Milan's Wheat Library also becomes a place to learn about the project's guiding principles and a device where content and physical space meet on another level of reality.

The app was created within the context of Madre Project, the School of Bread and Places, and is a Terzo Paesaggio project.
