About this app

Maeva is a private 1:1 chat companion for new mothers for the everyday moments of motherhood. Ask questions, talk through difficult moments, and get practical support for the everyday challenges of early motherhood.

Just someone to talk to at 2am when the feed won't end, or at 4pm when you can't say out loud that you miss your old life. Ask her anything you'd ask a friend who knows a lot about the first year.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING HER

• The night you haven't slept and everyone keeps saying it gets better
• Feeding, sleep, crying, and the hundred small worries in between
• Your mother-in-law's advice, your mother's advice, and the internet's advice

You don't have to have a question. You don't have to be in crisis. You can just talk.

HOW SHE'S DIFFERENT

Maeva doesn't judge. She doesn't lecture, doesn't correct you, and doesn't hand you advice you didn't ask for. She holds what you say without flinching and without turning it into a to-do list.

She remembers. If you told her last week that your baby wouldn't latch, she won't make you explain it again. Conversations pick up where they left off.

She knows where you are. What you need at three weeks is not what you need at seven months, and Maeva speaks to the stage you're actually in.

She's there at odd hours. No appointment, no waiting, no explaining yourself to a stranger.

PRIVATE, BY DESIGN

Your conversations are yours. Everything stays on servers in India, and your contact details are never shared with anyone. You can delete your account and all your data at any time from Settings.

IF THINGS GET HEAVY

Some days are heavier than others. If you're struggling, Maeva will gently share numbers for iCall (9152987821) and the Vandrevala Foundation (1860-2662-345) — free, confidential, and staffed by people trained to listen.

A NOTE ON WHAT MAEVA IS NOT

Maeva is not a doctor, a nurse, or a therapist, and she does not diagnose, screen, treat, or replace medical care. For anything about your health or your baby's health, please speak to your doctor. If you or your baby need urgent help, contact your doctor or emergency services right away.

Maeva is in beta, built in India, for mothers in India. English, on Android. Access during beta is by invitation only.
