The MagicContact application is intended for people with oral communication limitations and/or motor and/or cognitive problems.
Interaction modes are available by pressing and holding a cell on the home screen or using quick actions.
Examples of potential users are: people with Brain Injuries (Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, oncological disease, among others); Neurodegenerative Diseases (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, among others); Intellectual difficulties; Autism Spectrum Disorders; or other conditions that make conventional communication difficult.
Interaction is guaranteed through scan, row and column modes, and allows access to the main functions of an Android and IOS smartphone or tablet, such as making calls, sending messages, browsing the internet, etc...
Two tools for Augmentative and Alternative Communication are available - Text to Speech and Communication Tables - for people with speech difficulties (e.g. cerebral palsy, stroke victims, or ALS patients).
