Develop a number sense with the numbers from 100 to 1000 together with this fun and educational app.
You learn to count the numbers and place them in the correct order from small to large. But you also learn to listen to the number and you have to type it on the screen. Is it now 193 or is it 139? You also learn how to make jumps with different multiples.
The goal is to get a sense of how the numbers relate to each other and you get a good grasp of the system of writing down a 100 number. This is important before you actually start calculating with sums.
22 exercises and 3 tests
The setup is made so that you learn to count in steps from 100 to 1000. First you learn to recognize the numbers, then we count with jumps of 1. Then jumps of 5, 10, 20, 40 and finally 50.
Listen to the number
During this exercise you first listen to the number, then type in the number and see if it is right. First you practice the whole hundred numbers (eg 100,200,300), then the hundred tens (eg 110, 120) and finally you practice all the hundred numbers (eg 110, 111, 112). Once you have completed these exercises, you can write down any number below one thousand.
Set the numbers from low to high
In these exercises you see a number of blocks every time, some of which have no number. The intention is to add the missing numbers. In this way you learn the order of the numbers. We start with jumps from one, but then the jumps get bigger.
Counting with jumps of 1, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 50
In these exercises you come close to calculating with large numbers. You see a number line with a jump. Your task is to assign the number to which the jump goes.
