Keep One Thing gives you a quiet place to capture what speaks to you, choose the thought you want to carry, and return to it as it becomes part of your life.

Write without distraction
Capture sermon notes, personal reflections, and everyday moments in a focused rich-text editor. Add context so you remember where a thought came from.

Keep Scripture with the note
Attach a Bible passage to your writing, keep its translation and attribution, and open it again in YouVersion.

Choose one thing
Move one meaningful thought out of the page and into view. Keep it close with the home-screen widget, then add reflections as you live with it.

Return to the moments that mattered and shape them into a story you can keep or share.

Share in and share out
Send text or a YouVersion link into Keep One Thing. Share a finished note as a thoughtfully formatted PDF, including its attached Scripture passage and attribution.

Local first
Your writing is saved on your device. Optional encrypted Google Drive backup lets you restore it on another device using your recovery code. Keep One Thing has no app account or advertising; Google sign-in is only needed if you choose Google Drive backup.

What’s new

A gentler first start helps you capture a note and choose your One Thing. Reflections now show newest first, with simple editing and deletion. You can also lock individual notes with your biometrics: titles stay visible, while the writing stays private. This beta includes refinements to the reflection editor and note layouts.
