Go Fish is the card game you already know, played at an unhurried pace against an opponent who actually answers back.
Ask an opponent for a rank. If they have it, they hand it over and you go again. If they don't, they tell you to go fish and you draw from the lake. Collect all four cards of a rank to complete a book. When the lake runs dry and the hands are empty, whoever has the most books wins.
Play on your own against one, two or three opponents on Easy, Normal or Hard. Each has a name, a face and something to say about how the game is going.
Or play with other people:
- Pass and play: two to four players sharing one device, passed around the table, with a hold-to-reveal screen so nobody sees a hand that isn't theirs.
- Play nearby: two to four devices, with no account and no internet connection. Devices of the same kind connect straight to each other, so it works where there is no Wi-Fi network at all — in a car, on a train, out for the day. Cross-play between different platforms uses the local network, so for a mixed table everyone joins the same Wi-Fi.
Every game earns XP and moves you up the levels, unlocking avatars, table themes and card backs along the way. There are achievements to work through and a leaderboard for total wins.
House rules change how the game plays: pairs instead of books, handing over one card at a time, a lucky book, a lucky draw, and who takes the next turn.
No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking — and the game plays fully offline. Optional Google Play Games sign-in (for players 13 and older) adds leaderboards, achievements and cloud save. It's in English and Swedish, with haptics you can adjust or turn off.
A calm game of Go Fish — solo, passed around the table, or nearby with friends.
