About this app

BT ConnectTrack records when your already-paired Bluetooth devices connect or disconnect, with timestamps and optional location. It listens to Android’s Bluetooth connection and disconnection events and keeps a local history you can review by event or by device.

This app is intended for devices that emit system connect or disconnect events, such as headphones and headsets using A2DP or HFP, car audio systems, classic speakers, and other devices that broadcast these events. It can work with Bluetooth Classic and with some BLE devices only if the device and operating system actually broadcast those events.

This is not a scanner or a “find my device” tool. It does not initiate connections, pair devices, or keep a live BLE session solely to detect state changes.

Core features:
• Background Bluetooth event logging for paired devices
• Event log with device filtering and a dedicated detail page for each event
• Full event timestamps and optional recorded location with a map shortcut
• Device list and detail pages with editable display names and event history
• Per-device connect/disconnect sounds, with a master Event sounds switch in Settings
• Swipe to delete, or delete from details, with Undo for accidental deletions
• A dedicated Settings page for logging, event sounds, permissions, and data
• Guided Bluetooth and background access setup, with optional location access
• Clear Material 3 navigation, consistent text, and light and dark themes
• CSV export to the Downloads folder for backup or analysis

Important notes: Many BLE-only accessories, including app-managed smart tags, AirTag-type accessories, and some fitness bands or sensors, may not behave like Android paired Bluetooth devices. Android may expose only a generic name, may use changing Bluetooth addresses, or may not broadcast connect/disconnect events to third-party apps unless the app initiated the BLE connection. BT ConnectTrack cannot identify a specific app-managed tag as yours from Samsung SmartThings, Find My, or similar apps. These devices may not appear in the main log. Some manufacturers' battery optimizations can restrict background receivers; for best reliability, complete the required setup in the app and allow it to run in the background.

How to use: First pair your devices in Android Bluetooth settings. Open BT ConnectTrack, complete the required Bluetooth and background execution setup, then turn on logging from Settings. Allow Location only if you want location tags in entries. When system broadcasts are available, the app automatically records connection and disconnection events.

Privacy: The app has no internet access and all data stays on your device. You can view, export to CSV, or delete your history at any time.

Compatibility: Android 8.0 or later is required. Behavior may vary by device, operating system, and manufacturer. Logging depends on device behavior and system broadcasts.

Exactly what i was looking for! This tracks any bluetooth device i can connect to, regardless of bluetooth version, type of device and what not, and it works perfectly in the background. Has no ads, which is just wholesome. Ive tried other apps to no avail, even Google's FindHub didnt work for my devices. The only issue here is that i have to unpair and pair again with any device i want to track, but its juts a one-time setup. kudos!

What’s new

• Control connect/disconnect sounds for each device from Device details.
• Event sounds in Settings remains the master switch and preserves each device's choice.
• Muting sounds does not stop event logging. Existing devices default to sounds enabled, and your history is preserved when updating.
