About this app

A reminder you can answer straight from the notification: Done, Later or Skip. One tap, and your history keeps what actually happened.

A notification that never showed up is a familiar Android problem: manufacturers restrict background work to save battery, and the phone stays as quiet as if the reminder had never existed. You find out late, and nobody can tell "it never arrived" from "you never did it" - you included.

When the notification does land, an ordinary reminder app names the time and stops there. You swipe it away, and an hour later it is already "I think I did that"; a week later nothing is left in the phone but a feeling.

Pora carries the reminder through to an answer, and shows you whether it arrived. If it was never shown, the history says "not delivered", in those words.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a reminder in a few taps - from a template or in your own words.
2. When it arrives, the notification shows the action itself instead of the word "Reminder", with the emoji you picked. You spot it right away, among all your other notifications.
3. Answer with a button right there. No need to open the app.

YOU CAN SEE WHETHER THE NOTIFICATION ARRIVED
The Connection check screen shows which settings need attention: notification permission, exact alarms, your manufacturer's battery restrictions. It also lets you send a test notification, so you can check instead of guessing.

"DONE FOR SURE?"
Fifteen, thirty or sixty minutes after you mark something done, a short follow-up question arrives - it settles the nagging doubt about whether you really did it. You can also mark it done early, and then the notification never arrives.

WHEN A TASK HAS NO RIGHT HOUR
Some things are not tied to an hour at all: stretch, drink water, notice how you feel. Giving them "2 p.m." is pointless - at 2 p.m. you are busy, and the reminder turns into an interruption. Random within a window spreads them across the day unpredictably, never closer together than the minimum gap you set.

FOUR SCHEDULING MODES
- Random within a window: several times a day at unpredictable moments.
- Exact time: a time of day and the days of the week.
- At intervals: a start, an end and a fixed step between reminders.
- Once: a date and a time, no repeat - the errand you would never turn into a habit.

SKIPPING IS AN ANSWER TOO
No streaks, no charts, no rewards: nothing to lose and nothing to feel guilty about. Skipped it? Add a reason if you want - you do not have to. History keeps an honest line either way.

FREE, NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT
Your reminder texts stay on your phone. Works offline; the internet is used for analytics and for feedback you choose to send - both described in the privacy policy.

This is not a planner, not a to-do list and not a habit tracker. One job: it asks for an answer and records what happened. The app is young, so if something does not work, write to malkv.work@gmail.com

What’s new

Settings now have a tab of their own: dark theme, tips for watches and bands, help, and a button to write to the developer.

No need to retype a similar reminder - open an existing one and tap Duplicate.

More emoji, grouped by topic and searchable by word: type "water" or "sport".

A scheduling conflict now shows up at the fields instead of after Save. And the app itself is noticeably lighter.
