About this app

Green Bin helps you figure out where everyday items belong.

Take a photo of an item and receive clear guidance for trash, recycling, compost, or special drop-off. Green Bin makes disposal decisions easier by giving you simple steps based on the item it recognizes.

Use Green Bin to:

• Scan everyday items with your camera
• Get clear, step-by-step disposal guidance
• Find nearby recycling and drop-off locations
• Save and revisit your recent scans
• Mark items as disposed and track your progress
• Correct an item when the scan is uncertain

Whether you are disposing of packaging, electronics, batteries, household items, or food waste, Green Bin helps you make a more informed choice.

Disposal requirements may vary by location. Check local guidelines when handling hazardous, electronic, or special waste.
