About this app
Renoery is a renovation material calculator tuned for US users. Five calculators in one app: tile, paint, wallpaper, concrete and insulation. Enter the room dimensions, pick a material type, and the app returns how much you need, what it costs in USD, and how many packs to buy.
Remodeling a kitchen? Re-doing a bathroom? Pricing a small job for a client? Renoery runs locally, offline, no account, no subscription.
FIVE CALCULATORS IN ONE APP
• Tile — floor, single wall, or full room. Grout (1/8"–3/16"), waste percentage, box counts. Supports porcelain tile, glazed porcelain, through-body porcelain, ceramic wall tile, mosaic. Default formats 12×12, 12×24, 6×24 in.
• Paint — walls plus ceiling (optional), 1–3 coats, coverage from the can (sq ft/gallon). Output in gallons and cans.
• Wallpaper — rolls with pattern repeat factored in (often missed, easy to under-order). Strips per roll, waste.
• Concrete — slabs, footings and small screed jobs. Volume (cubic feet/yards), weight (lb), bag counts.
• Insulation — R-value display, material lambda (EPS, mineral wool, PIR, XPS). IECC 2021 climate zone reference targets. Estimated annual energy savings in USD.
PROJECT MODE + AGGREGATED SHOPPING LIST
Bundle calculations into projects ("Bathroom", "Kitchen", "Basement"). Renoery aggregates materials across all calculators into one shopping list. Export to PDF — take it to the store, email it to your client, or keep it as a quote.
US DEFAULTS
• Feet, inches, square feet, cubic feet, pounds, gallons where they matter.
• Prices in USD, frozen per project.
• Insulation R-value display aligned with IECC 2021 climate zone targets.
• Tile formats from US catalogue defaults.
• Metric storage stays internal, so calculations stay consistent.
NO ADS BETWEEN TAPS, NO SUBSCRIPTION
One static banner at the bottom. No full-screen ads, no popups between entering a dimension and reading the result.
A one-time Remove ads purchase (~$3.99, processed via Google Play Billing) removes the banner for life. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no monthly premium tier. Survives a reinstall through Restore Purchases.
OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
All calculations run locally. No account, no email collection, and no project or measurement data leaves your device.
PERMISSIONS
• Internet — required by the AdMob banner and Google Play Billing.
• com.android.vending.BILLING — handles the Remove ads purchase.
The app does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
PLATFORMS
Android 7.0 (API 24) or later. iPhone is also available on the App Store (requires iOS 16+). Interface languages: English and other European languages.
