I love how much information this app gives on all aspects of ingredients and manufacturing locations. A lot of products have no info now, but that will improve over time. The ads are very intrusive. I understand the need for ads, but having to close full-screen popup ads after every single scan is cumbersome. It'd be much better if there was just an ad banner at the top of the screen instead of the popups. But ads aside, this is easily the best and most accurate "buy Canadian" app I've tried.

Super clever to use AI to fix the difficulties of using a database approach. One thing that the dev should consider is to remove the subscription sheet during onboarding; let the user try the app at least once before making the move. Another thing is to add the ability to turn on the flash to scan barcodes in dark environments. Update: Ty for implementing all the feedback! I hope you keep replying to reviews in the future!

This is a great idea but a horrible roll out. I had to install 4 other apps and this app still does not work. The 4 other apps are HEAVY ad based that cover 90% of your cellphone with AMERICAN ads. I am unistalling all 5 as I do not trust apps that use 90% for ads. I can not figure out why I need 2 apps for QR codes and 2 apps for PDF files (those are the 4 the app linked me to, pretty scammy or Apple user programming android). I'll keep reading labels like I have always done. BUY CANADIAN!!!
