KARTA is the official staff app for MAP HMS (Hostel Management System). It is designed for institution staff who manage hostels—wardens, guards, campus managers, rectors, and supervisors—to run day-to-day operations from their phone.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Wardens – Attendance, student requests, parcels, emergency alerts, checklists
• Guards – Gate verification (QR/backup code), leave/out-pass, guest entry, checklists
• Campus Managers – Notices, incidents, operations, staff and student overview
• Rectors – Approvals, leave, dashboard, and oversight
• HK / RM / Laundry / Sports – Role-specific requests, checklists, and tasks
KEY FEATURES
• Gate & verification – Scan QR or use backup code for in/out and guest entry
• Attendance – Mark present/leave/absent by room; view and update daily
• Parcels – Log parcels, inform students with a code, receive by verifying the code
• Requests – Handle repair, housekeeping, laundry, and other student requests
• Emergency – View and acknowledge medical and security incidents
• Notices (Comm Box) – Send and manage announcements to students
• Checklists – Role-based daily tasks and completion tracking
• Leave & out-pass – Approve and mark leave/out-pass/guest entry as completed
• Profile – View your role, hostel, and tenant; access history and logout
SECURITY & ACCESS
• Login with your registered mobile number (OTP). Access is restricted to staff assigned by your institution.
• Data is scoped to your institution (tenant) and, where applicable, to your hostel.
• For use only by authorised staff of colleges/institutions that use the MAP HMS platform.
