ChordQuest was born to eliminate that frustration, turning chord knowledge into pure muscle memory. But we don't just leave you to study alone.
Our real revolution is the new Guided Learning Path. Forget random practice. Start at the Beginner level, where we guide you chord by chord, and progress through structured exercises designed to build a solid foundation. Your only goal is to play; we'll handle the guidance.
And when your knowledge is solid? Unleash our ‘end-game’ feature: the unique Overlay. Imagine a discreet "personal trainer" floating over your other apps, letting you practice while you watch a YouTube tutorial or read a tab sheet. No interruptions, no app switching. Open the app to access the training screen, your command center for chord mastery. Here you can:
• Practice on multiple instruments: now featuring guitar, bass, and ukulele, with support for alternate tunings (like the baritone ukulele).
• Structure and Track Your Practice: Use the new session timer (countdown or stopwatch) to stay focused. After each session, get a detailed summary of your duration, total chords, and a list of every chord you practiced.
• A Focused Practice Zone: Stay perfectly in time with a visual and audio metronome, and tailor all sound cues to your liking. When it’s time to play, a new immersive full-screen mode keeps you focused by hiding all distractions.
• Customize your practice, choosing an ordered or random sequence, or a specific starting chord.
• Discover the Soul of Chords: Feel the music with the new "Emotional Chords" feature! A colored stripe shows you the emotional character of each chord (bright, melancholic, tense...). Explore harmony in a new way by filtering chords by emotion in the library or training with the new "Emotive" sequence.
• Choose how you learn: The chord library and training screen support viewing chords as Tablature (TAB), in addition to the classic diagram. Switch between views with a simple tap!
• Focus only on playing, thanks to the voice assistant that announces the next chord for you.
• "Hands-Free" Voice Commands, control your training with your voice. Start, pause, or ask for a chord repeat without ever taking your hands off your instrument.
