About this game
Mardin Bu was developed to introduce the historical, cultural, natural, and intangible cultural heritage values of Mardin through a fun Taboo game experience.
The game was created by CuhaStudio under the signature of Muhammed ÇUHA; it was designed in relation to the "Historical and Cultural Values of Mardin" course conducted within the scope of the Travel-Tourism and Entertainment Services Department, Cultural Heritage and Tourism Program.
In the game, Mardin's historical structures, traditional handicrafts, local dishes, cultural rituals, belief systems, and local values are presented in the form of cards. Players try to describe the given word to their teammates without using forbidden words. Points are awarded for correct answers, taboo, and pass options; at the end of the game, the teams' scores are compared.
Mardin Bu is designed for users who want to have fun and gain awareness about cultural heritage. It is suitable for families, groups of friends, students, and anyone interested in cultural heritage.
The application will continue to be developed over time. In later stages, under the umbrella of "Turkey-This," Turkey's UNESCO heritage sites, natural heritage values, intangible cultural heritage elements, city-based cultural values, and geographically indicated products will be added to the game.
