I'm trying to find an alternative to Beagle Freedom Project's cruelty cutter app since it hasn't been updated in years and doesn't work very well. This does not have a barcode scanner, which is what I'm really looking for, but is still useful to look up cruelty free brands. That being said, the list does not appear to be comprehensive as some of the not cruelty free companies I looked up were not on it. Initially I thought they only had cruelty free on the list, but I did see some as I searched.

This is a great app. I use it every time I shop for cosmetics, household products and hygienic needs. I recommend it highly to ever one I know & promote it heavily on social media. Not only am I better informed to purchase products & support companies that do NOT test, this app helps me discover much better products of higher quality. And I feel better knowing my dollars are not supporting the unnecessary torture of animals who deserve to live as much as we do.

My shopping habits have changed considerably once I started using this app. I haven't eaten meat or fish since 2009 and working on the diary side... The beauty industry is a very ugly industry. There is absolutely NO need to abuse or oppress ANY animal for ANY product. Every person's body chemistry is unique to them so no matter all the "testing" they do, its not universal reactions. I will only support these companies that do not test. There were many surprises and adjustments. Love this!
