About this app

Bible Hour provides an easy way to stay connected with the Word of God throughout the day. Every hour a new scripture will be highlighted! Spend some time reflecting on the scripture and meditating on the Word.

You can set an alarm for any and every hour that you want to be notified. The scripture will be sent right to your device!

You can like the scriptures that are helping you most, and even read the full chapter to get the whole context of the scripture.

You can select which Bible version you want to read and get alerts from. We currently offer Bible versions in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, French, Russian, Portuguese, and Hindi with more languages to be added. Currently you can choose from KJV, NIV, NKJV in English, RVA, RVR1960 in Spanish, and CUV, KO, HB, SVD, EPEE, NVI, RUSV in other languages.

Ratings and reviews

Good idea, and works for the most part, but it only has the butchered masoretic canon. None of the versions has the sacred books later taken out by the "reformers". Also it gets glitchy sometimes and in the menu with the day's verses they display as white boxes with only the time and some buttons showing.

Fixed bugs! Great app to stay in the Word throughout the day. I hope they keep adding more versions of the Bible(the selection is already pretty good)

I love the idea of a verse popping up on my screen every hour, and was excited, but the app crashed every time I tried to open it. :(
