Your to-do list, nested like folders on your phone.
Open TaskTree and start a folder the way you would on a computer. Drop tasks inside. Nest another folder when a project grows. Check off a todo with a tap. It is a nested task list, a checklist, and a simple task manager—without tags, calendars, or an account.
Most todo apps dump everything into one scroll. TaskTree treats work like files: directories for projects, to-dos for the next action, unlimited nesting when life is not flat.
HOW IT WORKS
Add a folder or a todo from the app bar. Every item starts as a to-do; convert it to a folder when it needs room. Open a folder to see only what belongs there. Press and hold to reorder. Move a task or a whole folder to another place in the tree. Zoom out for an outline of nested tasks and subtasks in one view. On a tablet or wide screen, folders open in columns so you can walk the tree sideways.
A SIMPLE NESTED TODO LIST
Use it as a project organizer, a shopping list with aisles as folders, a work breakdown, homework by subject, a trip packed into nested checklists, or a personal task manager that stays out of the way. If you already think in folders, this to-do list will feel obvious.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Nested folders and subtasks, as deep as you need
• To-do lists and checklists in every folder
• Tap to complete a task; convert a todo into a folder
• Move items through the tree; reorder by press-and-hold
• Outline view to see nested todos at a glance
• Dark mode in Settings
• Fully offline. No sign-in, no cloud, no feed
PRIVACY
Your nested task list lives on the device. TaskTree does not make you create an account. There is nothing to sync because there is no server copy of your checklist.
WHO IT IS FOR
People who want a nested todo list, a folder-based task list, an outline for projects, a hierarchical checklist, or a simple offline to-do app. Not a reminder calendar. Not a social productivity network. A quiet file cabinet for tasks.
Start on Home, add a folder or todo, and nest from there.
Nested to-do lists with folders. Organize tasks like files. Offline, no account.
