About this app

Marshal Eye provides a solution to a modern-day problem in Workplaces. Many organisations provide flexible working arrangements for staff, making it very difficult to plan your Fire Marshal cover.

The App allows your team to select an area or role at the point of a fire event, this is done digitally on the phone or tablet, it will let everyone else on the Fire Response Team see that you have selected it.

Documents - Access documents and resources through the dedicated Document Screen. Find and retrieve important files, manuals, guides or other essential documents essential for your tasks like 'how to use a fire extinguisher guide'.

Report an Issue - Utilise the 'Report an Issue' screen to promptly notify your manager of any concerns or issues you encounter. Whether it's a blocked fire exit door or any other safety-related matter, this platform enables you to submit details efficiently. Upload a PDF or image to back your report, providing a clear view for faster resolution.

Settings - Manage your account preferences and security settings effortlessly on the 'Settings' screen. Customise your experience by updating your password, profile picture, and choosing authentication methods like pin, biometric or facial recognition. Additionally, tailor your notification preferences by enabling or disabling push notifications.

Live Incident Screen - When an incident is initiated, the 'Live Incident' screen seamlessly emerges, providing real-time updates and essential information. This interactive overlay presents a live message area for instant communication among team members. Simultaneously, it showcases available tasks and roles that team members can claim, ensuring efficient collaboration and swift resolution.

Upon claiming a task or role, users are directed to an additional screen displaying a checklist of sub-tasks necessary for completion. Once all sub-tasks are fulfilled, users can mark the task or role as completed, notifying the team of progress in the chat message area.

Additionally, users can claim an Incident Manager role, which provides access to an extended screen showing all tasks and roles, along with information on who has claimed them, when they were claimed, and their completion status. This feature offers a comprehensive view for effective management and oversight during incidents.

Time stamping - Every role or task that is claimed and completed is time stamped. This allows you to assess how effective the fire response was. It will also include messages exchanged during the event, creating a full chronological report for debrief and audit purposes.

Notifications - Stay abreast of important company-wide updates and announcements by easily accessing the Notification screen. This dedicated screen serves as a centralised hub, displaying a comprehensive list of notifications that are relevant to all users. Whether it's critical information, project milestones, or important alerts, it provides a convenient overview, ensuring that everyone is well-informed. Also, see the latest notification on the orange dropdown on the home page for quick reference, offering a seamless way to stay connected and informed.

Assigned Tasks - Conveniently explore roles and tasks open for claim by navigating to the 'Tasks' screen from the Home Page. Additionally, you have the option to review detailed descriptions of these roles/ tasks, and access any relevant PDF or image attachments that may assist you during an active incident.

Fire Safety Issues can be easily reported through the App by all users with minimum fuss. These are recorded in the administrator dashboard.
