The App does work for US money. I noticed it takes about 1.5 to 2 seconds to work. I don't know if this is related to all the other money it will read or not. I also noticed about 50% of the time if you have the money folded onto quarters it will tell you 10 for an 1, 50 for an 5, 100 for an 10. Made me laugh. So people should be aware of that. It would also be nice if the flash could be set to automatic. On my phone it is always on even in an well lighted room. So basically if you have an lot of money to go through, lets say 20 bills! Expect to take about 1 to 2 minutes.

This app works flawlessly for me with the new (absolutly awful) UK notes. Never had a problem with the old paper money, cold identify it by size & texture. I was so impressed that I purchaced the lifetime option straight away. At about 25 quid it works out about the same price as a stand alone cash detector and as most folks always hve a phone on them it's handy to have. I hope this app works for other blind users as well as it ded for me.

Hello, I’m using the Cash Reader currency recognition app on my Samsung A05S running Android 15. The app does not recognize any banknotes at all, even though the camera is working perfectly. I tested the camera with other vision apps like Google Gemini, which successfully described everything around me. I also tried capturing objects using the default camera app, and everything works fine. However, Cash Reader fails to detect any currency in any situation. Regards.
