So, I used this app not for seismic detection but to detect movement under collapsed structures the day of the 7.4M earthquake in Cali, Colombia but also to detect the actual pressure pulse for signs of life specifically the Mrrcalli sensor very useful and accurste.

really sensitive, i got readings from people walking up my sidewalk, to my front door. Did not expect that! I wish i had it on when we had a small earthquake off the Oregon coast, but i was asleep and didn't feel it at all. I'll bet it would have registered something. Great app, fun.

Agree that it has good sensitivity. Staying at a hotel near railroad tracks, and this one beat out another one I tried.
