Mary - Simple phone experience for older adults

Mary replaces the complexity of a modern smartphone with a calm, simple home screen designed for older adults, people with memory challenges, and those who find smartphones overwhelming.

Simple calling
Trusted family members and caregivers appear as large, clear contact buttons on the home screen. One tap starts a call - no menus, no searching through contacts.

Daily reminders
Mary surfaces medication reminders, appointments, and daily tasks at the right time in a clear, readable format.

HELP button
A large HELP button is always visible on the home screen. When pressed, it alerts trusted contacts by call and SMS so help can reach the right person quickly.

Caregiver access
Family members and caregivers can manage contacts, reminders, and settings directly on the device using a PIN-protected caregiver screen - no account or internet connection required.

Familiar and calm
Mary is designed to feel dependable and unhurried. Large text, simple layout, and predictable behaviour reduce stress and confusion for the person using it every day.

Privacy first
Mary does not require an account. In standalone mode, no personal data leaves the device. Contacts and reminders are stored locally. Location is only used to include a link in SOS SMS alerts - it is never sent to our servers.

Mary is not a medical device and should not be relied upon as an emergency service.

Guided setup for a new phone, a way back in if the PIN is forgotten, and a new "Where am I?" button.
