works good. what I would like to see is the reformat of the user interface, the bottom menu buttons like Power off and setting the temperature are too low to the bottom of the screen and overlap the phone functions buttons. also the SAFE mode is silly, if it can recognize opening of the door why can't it recognize shutting of the door? having to press the Bluetooth button on the control panel is redundant and sometimes doesn't work to remove safe mode. the newer app doesn't work with my smoker.

One of the worst apps available. It works ok until you open the door to check on food, then goes into safe mode and cannot be used unless you turn off the smoker, close the app then restart both. The is app necessary because the blue numbers on the smoker screen a hard to see in daylight and the app is supposed to make it easier to use. I would not recommend buying a smoker that can't work with the app.

The first time I connected, it worked perfectly. The second and Following times I've connected, the app force closes on me. Oddly, I got it to work great when I turned on the VPN on my phone. I can't really make sense of it though, since this is supposed to connect via Bluetooth. When it works, it's really cool. However, for the most part, it's a pretty buggy app that rarely likes to connect without fiddling with it.
