MathMyth is an app that shows "why" math works the way it does, rather than making users memorize formulas.
Every concept begins with a short story. It shows where the idea came from, what problems people tried to solve, and how rules grew from simple ideas like addition, grouping, and repetition. Then, as the child presses and drags colorful pictures themselves, they realize, "Ah, so that's why!"
You can do the following:
- Principle-based learning: Each concept explains how it connects to what was learned previously, making rules something to be understood rather than memorized.
- Interactive visualization: Drag and press numbers, shapes, and graphs to see their movements.
- Infinite drills: New random problems every time, followed by step-by-step solutions after the answer is provided. Descriptive problems are designed based on real-life situations.
- Daily homework: Short homework assignments tailored to the child's level, an error notebook, and a parent verification screen.
- Multiplication tables: Challenge games and speed challenges. - Vedic Math: Provides 3 mental arithmetic tips via animation, showing "why they work."
- Covers ages 6 to around 15, ranging from number sense to concepts in algebra, geometry, and calculus.
