3D STUDIO — MATHS YOU CAN TURN AROUND

Mensuration stops being a list of formulas. Drag any of 14 solids to turn it,
then:
• Explode it to see what its surface is made of
• Unfold it into its net — that is where surface area comes from
• Slice it at any angle to see the cross-section
• Stack it into thin slabs, which is exactly what an integral does
• Fill it with unit cubes to watch the volume add up

The Studio also covers conic sections (one cone, one plane, four curves),
