WallRod is a custom wallpapers app created from scratch by Mathy Eckerdt, here you can find a variety of wallpapers with different styles and colors, very well organized in different categories.

- In the app you can apply the wallpapers them directly, you can also see the details of each one as its resolution and color palette.

- There is no download option.

- A very complete configuration section is also available in which you can select the themes, I recommend dark-amoled.

-Clear data and cache before or after updating

- New wallpapers every week.

- Some Jio users in India have problems loading these wallpapers, a VPN is recommended if you decide to install this app.

Ratings and reviews

I love the wallpapers and have had this app since close to launch or so. The only thing is I like to switch wallpapers based on light/dark theme for day/night. If possible I would like to see the option to do that through the app. Since you can't download the wallpapers directly, to do it through the device. Seriously great app regardless though! Keep up the awesome work with the art and the walls!

I'm not sure why the rating of this app has gone down. However, I am a long-term user of this app and absolutely love the look and feel of the wallpaper. Unlike other subscription-based models, I only had to pay once for lifetime access. Kudos to the developer for keeping their commitment and releasing new wallpapers twice or thrice a month. Five stars from me!

To anyone in doubt, go ahead. This app has all the wallpapers I could use for the next 10 lifetimes. It's a minimalist's and abstract wallpaper user's dream. New wallpapers have been added twice since I bought the app, and they've only gotten better. Almost every wallpaper goes well with my home screen setup. I can't see an option to download these wallpapers locally, which is a small complaint. I would recommend Moxy, Sliced and Candycons Icons(in combination) with these wallpapers.
