MatrixCare for Home Care is an electronic health record/electronic medical record (EHR/EMR) app that enables Home Care organizations to enforce best practices that maximize compliance, improve client caregivers outcomes and increase efficiencies. It’s designed to enable caregivers to have the ability to document personal care services at the point-of-care to ensure accuracy and compliance, without compromising the care of the client. It allows caregivers to access their schedules and client information at the time the care is provided.

This app is finicky. I was told that I could document as I go through my shift. So i do, but then when I go to clockout, all my notes have been erased. Sometimes the note screen doesn't load properly and I end up typing without seeing what I'm typing. And every so often, after clocking out and being confirmed of success in the app, I'm still notified by my supervisor that nothing went through and I have to fill out a paper form anyway.

I have called support twice and get a standard protocol read to me to fix a problem with entering information on the app. The task entry becomes microscopic and will not open and allow data to be entered. I have followed the protocol several times and the problem remains. I have talked with others using the android version and they have the same problem. Support is poor and apparently they can't,or don't want to, fix the problem for Android users.

If I could give this app negative starts I would. This app has so many issues, everyone I have talked to at my workplace has had multiple issues with it. This app is so slow it sometimes takes over five minutes to check the list. This app has even made me late to work with syncing issues, it will say I have no clients when I do on the schedulers' end. I contacted customer support, they told me it "must be your phone," and seemed to ignore me when I told them of other's issues as well.
