App is horrible, 4 out of 7 smart switches by Maxcio broke down 2 years after purchase. Customer service responded to my complaint that the expected lifetime of the switch is 2 years. Don't buy, don't use.

The lamp will not keep connecting to the app and makes it useless. When trying to rescan and add, not allowing me to do it. Frustrated.

You can't operate the light without this app, which you also can't use without adding a password and your email address. I just want to turn on a light... Stop making it so complicated.
