Poweramp is a powerful music player for Android.

• Modify or delete the contents of your shared storage - to read or modify your media files, including playlists, album covers, CUE files, LRC files on the older versions of Androids
• Foreground Service - to be able to play music in the background
• Modify system settings; Disable your screen lock; This app can appear on top of other apps - optional - to enable player on the lock screen
• Prevent phone from sleeping - to be able to play music in background on old Androids

Ratings and reviews

I would love, love very much... if the Mid-Side function comes to the app, i love to listen songs with the Sides isolated, as a producer i learn a lot, and as a listener i have fun listening to it too. This would be a very great feature for the app, because it's the only thing that is missing, i think it needs to be implemented... It's just an amazing feature to have! Thank you!

I haven't been using it frequently for some time now, instead using Musicolet because of the multiple playlist support (i.e. without saving them, so if you accidentally touch another song when you're building a playlist, you can just go back to what was playing), but nonetheless this app is a close second option, and the one I'll usually use for my preset playlists. It's good enough that I ended up choosing to buy it, and I usually just go the seven seas route...

Wonderful app, though I have a suggestion. The long press volume buttons to switch tracks could be better if it would only activate when music is playing. This would eliminate the interference with the use of the volume buttons when the app is in the background but playing no music. Also, if possible, it would be nice if the feature worked while the screen is off. Please consider. Stellar app nonetheless!

• allowed initial and trailing whitespace to form Tag Split patterns. This requires Full Rescan and may change the way tags are split if you already used Whitespace as split symbol option
