extremely poor app development going on here. I've been using this for over 2 years. almost since it first came out. it's over hyped. The biggest problem that I have with it is that the Wi-Fi connection is not reliable at all. I have to take time almost every day to reconnect the Wi-Fi connection before I can put feed mode on to feed my fish. It was super expensive and here it is almost 2 years later and the app still sucks. they need to focus on the Wi-Fi connection problems. fix that!

Ok. Rough start. This is the revised edition. Got it working. Steps that may possibly help you. Had to seperate 2.4 and 5.0 on the router. Didn't work. Even as seperate networks. Mildly frustrated I then , at the same time, turned off 5.0 and reset not only the router setting on the device but also the personal settings(red and green). Worked. Seems to be still working with 5.0 turned back on. My thought, after reading that the device "bonds?" to the user. May have bonded prior to another.....

Connection issues. I have two pairs of Gyre CE, one controller already had to be replaced in warranty as it was never able to connect. The other controller works fine. connects, gives OK on cloud access, yet the app says they are offline and can't program them, so I can only program on the controller, which gives 1/10th of the options. They should have been the premium of the premium gyres, yet connection issues are worse than the cheapest Chinese clones.
