About this game

Mayan Cluster Slide is a seven by seven board of jade beads, obsidian shards, turquoise discs and carved masks inside a jungle temple. There are no reels and no lines. A win is five or more identical symbols touching each other horizontally or vertically, anywhere on the board, and clusters can wind across the grid in any shape they like. Diagonals do not connect, which is what keeps the shapes readable.

When a cluster pays it explodes, and the refill is where this one differs from every other cluster game. The first cascade drops fresh totems from above in the usual way. The second one does not. It slides them in from the side, sweeping the survivors across instead of down. The third goes back to falling, the fourth slides again, and the alternation continues for as long as the board keeps producing clusters. The same board reads completely differently depending on which direction is about to fill it.

Some high symbols land locked into the stone. Sticky blocks pay like any other symbol but never leave their cell for the rest of the spin, so they anchor a corner of the board while everything around them moves, and clusters keep re-forming against them.

Five sacred glyphs open twelve temple spins. Before each one the altar picks a cheap symbol at random and devours every copy of it on the whole grid at once, collapsing the board before the spin has even been evaluated. The summary closes the round with the total, the spins played, the last devoured symbol, the sticky blocks held and the biggest cluster of the session.

A mask gallery gives every symbol a piece of lore and its full cluster payout ladder, and a statistics tab tracks spins, clusters formed, biggest cluster, biggest win and bonus rounds triggered, with a live snapshot of the current board. Settings cover the ethnic soundtrack with a volume slider, gesture sensitivity and turbo cascades.

This is a free social game. The credits are virtual, hold no value, cannot be purchased and cannot be exchanged for anything at all. Nothing of value can be won here, and it is not gambling. How a session goes here predicts nothing about anything else.
